Tilbury?

I haven't used any of the saddlebags but have a couple of the 'mugbags', and a front pouch and I'm really happy with them..

There are pictures of other colours on the Facebook page. I don't do Facebook but worth dropping a message first as the last post seem to be last may. -

To be fair, it was everyone who stood up to get off too early that caused him to tell them to sit down again. I was already standing up the front with the bikes causing only minor extra drag to the front of the boat.

Look tidy, 4 week backorder though and I'm planning a few days away next week. Oh and €45

I've had the Ortlieb 2.7L for years, it won't win any style points on IG but it's a good system. Depending on your bike, it tends not to rub anywhere near as much as bikepacker kit.

Very stable too

the clip can get stuck on the ortlieb if you try to fit it while askew and i've had it not fully engage before and drop down on to the wheel mid ride but those are both user error rather than design though it's a fucking pain to undo the clip if it fucks up and the top tabs get caught inside the slotted area.

The Tilbury area.
I was head south from Stansted. I approached the ferry from the East. -

Anyone have recommendations on top tube bag for carrying bit of food/nick nacks? I have seen these on Amazon with a clear top for a mobile. Are there any reputable companies making something like this or is it a shit idea in practice?

Why wouldn't you just use the normal velcro strap around the spacers?
That's not the same bag as mine though. Does it have the three strap locations?
-
• #4839
If one takes the bike in the photo for example; you would have to put the strap in the lowest of the locations, which might not help with a full, more floppy back, but that doohickey allows you to run the strap higher thus making it more stable

Thanks for the recommendation spotter.
-
• #4841
Wouldn't that eat away the strap with the constant movement?

• #4842
It doesn’t turn with the bars

Works with both style of revelate bags.
I picked up one of the first batch but had it delivered to the UK so I've only just opened it. Seems to work well. Test in anger in when I get back to Aus

thats some premium bicyclepubes content

Just seems a bit overkill. My bag is pretty stiff-sided though and I don't over-stuff mine because it'll rub my knees. Mine is slammed so I have a strap over the spare spacers and use a zip tie underneath for some extra stability. #allthezipties

I wondered what the other spacers/rings were for. That's useful.

What sorcery is this?

A lot of triathlon frames have bosses on the top tube which would be useful for endurance frames. I can imagine a semi ridged top tube bag with solid mounting would be very useful.

Open UP has this.

Not sure where to put this but here seems most appropriate. RIP

The road to the ferry is an interesting wasteland.
Did you spot a horse on every available scrap of grass? Apparently this is an old traveler trick. Something to do with land usage. After 10 years you can legally claim it as you've been grazing animals on it. Seems like a shit place to own the grass on a roundabout but the sprawl will get there one day and it'll be worth all the monies by then.
