  • Had a chat with someone today who it turns out is a bit alt-right (basically his gist was white men are oppressed by society). I suggested that seemed like bollocks. His reply was:

    “It’s my opinion. It’s not my identity”.

    What on earth does that mean?

  • He heard it from someone else and thinks it sounds clever. I assume it’s some kind of preemptive ‘my identity politics aren’t actually identity politics’ nonsense.
