should be fine. in my experience they will be more interested in the incident itself than what was said afterwards.
example: got close passed a few months ago. the driver got out and made several threats to kill me. i asked him how he planned do it, and reminded him that if he had done that on his driving test he would probably have failed.
i felt pretty ashamed about the whole thing - it did make me think twice about reporting it. after deliberation i did, he was issued with notice of intended prosecution and nothing was said about his threats / or my belligerence towards him.
I have reported an incident to my local police force who are asking for my footage so they can issue a warning letter to the registered keeper. In the footage there is some swearing directed at me to which I respond to in kind....with a bit of goading chucked in for good measure...This is gonna look bad, right - shall I just drop it?
