I suppose this question is a plea for help more than anything.
Its my mother in law's funeral on Friday and there has been a balls up getting the order of service cards printed.
A design has been done (may well need tweaking), but we urgently need 30 copies printed in colour on light card. Ideally we'd be able to pick them up tomorrow as we are travelling North on Thursday.
Is there anybody here who can help us out?

These guys have been swift when I've used them in the past. They're open 24 hours so may well be able to turn it around if you talk to them.

There's also a 24h place in Soho, Wardour st I think, that have been fine with doing small jobs on the spot for me. 30 copies is nothing, any printer should be able to turn it around so long as they have the right kind of card.

Actually for either place mentioned, if they don't have the right card you can probably get it in the big Paperchase, Tottenham Court Rd. If you have time.

Looking for a rim with following requirements:
- 650B diameter
- not too wide (for tires up to 38C maybe)
- 32h
- rim brake
Any forum recommended options out there?
EDIT: I came across velo orange diagonale that seems to be matching, but did not found any other options (or did not search correctly so looking for options)
- 650B diameter

650B rim brake
I'm guessing the answer in the wheelbuilding thread will apply to 32H too:

I'm after a plastic plunger relay manual override button thingy. The actionman sized red buttplug in the pictured.
Despite my best googling I can't find where to buy one, or something to buy to then canablalise.
Could one of these work?

As an override or as the next step in Action Man's pegging journey? Looks ideal for the latter what with the little hand holds.
Otherwise, can't you just prod something through the magic hole (ahem) to do the same job as the plunger? Maybe best to use something insulating... -

Find someone with a 3d printer?
Use a machine screw? (m6 20mm I think?)
edit - maybe not a screw unless you find a plastic one

Maybe the trigger from a water gun?

Next question...
I’m looking for a M6 bolt that ideally has both an allen key and hex socket head.
They don’t seem to be out there.
It would be handy if the head was much larger... like this
... which has lead me to the idea of an allen key bolt, cutting a thread onto the head, then screwing that into the relevant sized socket nut with red locktite.a) Is this a shit idea?
b) The head diameter should be 10mm right? So an M10 nut? A M10 nut should be ~8mm high/thick vs a 6mm allen head height, which sounds like enough to hold onto.
c) is there a way to do a BB style reverse thread to decrease the chance of them coming undone?
d) As for material, A2 would be good for corrosion resistance, but I’m assuming it might be a bit hard for my cutting set. So would an A2 nut (to prevent visible surface rust) paired with a standard steel M6 allen bolt and some copper slip be the best option?

Look good send me a message when you have an idea of the price, I m quite skint right now but I m interested
-
• #94119
Yes!
But it would need to be <£10 and doesn't seem to be available.
I guess I could always try a ghetto turndown to 7mm with a drill then recut the thread.

Looks good.
Removing the frame engagement clip from the lock would allow it to settle more snugly into the strappage. -

Yup, that happened about 2 minutes after the photo was taken :)

Yes, they already exist in the BMX, fixed freestyle and bike polo world.
Like these:

Thanks. Unfortunately they're £20 and not M6 thread.
The bolt is for the sidecover of my motorbike that needs a coin. Custom Allen key replacements are available for that sort of money. But my thinking was a nut and bolt would be a few quid and give me both socket and Allen key options.

I need to get one of these.

Are any London type people doing London type things tomorrow (today) I'm down with a day to kill and am happy to hang out (probably drink). Haz bike, can travel. Or what can I see on the cheap that's worth doing?
From that, I'm assuming it is all sorted.
Let me know if it isn't.
