Good plan.

At least use some cable ends ffs!

Bike is only half built at the moment. I don't like to cut them prematurely in case I change the cable routing or something

A fun fact - 11 speed SRAM road shifters work well with 10 speed GX derailleur giving you 11 speed transmission for cheap.

also relevant is that an 11-speed Shimano MTB cassette will fit on a 10-speed hub and work with SRAM 11 drivetrain

You're never going to be able to reroute that cable through the outer. Look at the end of it!
Also how is a 'half built' bike so dirty?
:)

It was built, I was riding it. Then I had to cannibalise it to put some of the parts on a new bike. Put new shifter on old bike, it's working, but I've not got around to sorting bars and cables yet.
As for the dirt I live in a tiny flat on the second floor, it's really annoying for me to clean them.
Cable just needs a bit of a twist and it'll be grand! I probably don't need to reroute it really but you never know.

Looks perfect, I'm just away to pick up my Vagabond frame tomorrow night. Are those 700c or 650b wheels?
-
• #20143
Nice! Youβll have fun. Wheels are 700c.

really nice! similar to what I envisioned for this
Though yours is generally a bit nicer.
Still need to stick 1x bits and rear dynamo on, just haven't had the time recently.

Are people rating the pizza rack, or nah?
-
• #20147
I do.
I've used it for several touring holidays, on and off road and it's worked very well.
I use it with stuff on top and front panniers. -

Great news

Similarly good. I use a bag on top for commuting and have had panniers on too for short, over-packed tours. Itβs pretty lightweight
Mounting a light on was a bit awkward, for cat eye light
Itβs also easily available and relatively cheap
It's easy if you stick to 10-speed SRAM - everything is compatible with everything else. @amey 's derailleur will work, then you just need to sort a shifter.
