In need of a tool roll at some stage when your making
Added a couple of photos of one's you have previously made a design to something similar to they grey Jobbie I like the restraint / buckle style but could you make it a double restraint so its more secure when hung from the saddle and a key holder similar to that shown on the blue bag but located on the inside face running the opposite direction to the restraints so it fits snug when folded
Material choice let me know what you have
If you can cunjure something upThanx

That key holder isn’t mine by the way.
You’ve pm’d me a couple times about a few different bags now, we can carry on chatting by pm ;)

A late thanks for the pocket pouch, Ash. Great work. Been using mine for a few weeks and it's perfect

I have some more salvaged and some new (NOS) materials. Lots of different material for lining (floral etc) and some different leather (brown upholstery/black&brown jacket/glittery goatskin), plus a finite amount of black waterproof material from a lay-z-spa.
Blue translucent and orange tarp are now completely finished, but I now have some blue tarp, white tarp, dirty white truck tarp, and the grey and red cordura.
I have a few synthetic leather/pvc sheets as well, ugly brown and hot pink.
Lots of pics on the workshop-in-progress thread, but I’ve fired out a couple of leather musettes like this, to see how they look. So it’s possible to have a super light thin basic tarp one, or a little more upmarket leather one.

Thanks for the Musette Ash, used it today for the first time! Really great piece of kit.

I've been using my jersey pouch loads.
Highly recommended!

Yeah, mines been ace although I’ve now officially lost it to my wife who’s started commuting again after maternity leave. I’ll either have to get another one, or have another child.

I’ve also started making these ultra slim wallets with bare unfinished edges. Made from bouncy castle plastic, I have a few colours.
Two separated card pockets and a coin pocket. Made for bare minimum gig/cycling/travel/whatever. Might revise the design eventually but this is what they look like at the moment. On the ‘in progress’ thread there are even more bits I’m working on.
-Also-
I’m going to have a test with the little Cricut later.
If I were to make little patches, they may or may not be limited runs. They may or may not use the reflective materials. It might or might not be a disaster.
Gonna make one for myself to test that says “NO”. If it works, I will also test a “shut up legs”.
Any other thoughts on small bike related text?

You got a logo etc sorted yet? It’d be great to see some of these branded up! The pouches and rolls would look good with a little tab stitched in to a seam or something.

@AlexD yea there is a little name tag sewn into a lot of the stuff now. Some stuff goes out without, but almost everything has a little tag inside now.
@doubleodavey ha! Okay I’ll try make one tomorrow or this evening. Just finished this after a few attempts. It uses seatbelt as the base material so nice patch-like density.

Is that the colour you used for the recent pouch you posted on the other thread, or was that black (can’t quite tell in the photo)?
-
• #72
I don’t have any black cordura, only red and this last bit of grey. I do have black bouncy castle though.
-
• #73
Ah ok - could I reserve a pouches worth of the grey then please? I’ll definitely have one off you when I can make a zip decision :-)

Yea no worries I’ve kept a bit aside for you since your pm... just when I lined the orange tool roll and realised how little I have left.
Trying to keep costs as low as possible, so may need an alternate (new) material like ripstop, whatever I can source that’s quality enough but cheap enough. If I buy Cordura-brand, new, it may bump the prices a bit.

RIP stop (autocorrect, but I like the gravity it lends an otherwise innocuous material!) would be quite good for pouches etc as I guess it folds a little easier/smaller?
Received a giant tote bag from @pdlouche, am very happy with it, super sturdy and seat belt/truck tarp materials make for a cool bag. Will be keen on saddle/tool roll down the track!
