Rides beautifully!

Slowly getting there, still deciding on drops or risers...
Better pics to follow on completion.

Has anybody ran Maxxis holy rollers? Are they any good?
-
• #1809
I'm liking them a lot on my groceries machine. Good cornering and they don't feel too sluggish going straight. I run them on tarmac 99% of the time.

Uuuh, nice grocery getter is nice!

Definitely one of the best retro MTB conversions around.

Crappy photo of my Wolverine in touring mode ! Tubus Tara and Maxxis ReFuse (instead of the Maxxis Crossmark).
Just need to do some bar/rack adjustments.
Still amazing to ride!!!

Love this!
Are you running Hunt Dynamos?
Also, what rack/lo rider combo do have up front? -
• #1817
These came to my attention the other day, can't find anyone stocking them in the UK though and as yet to see any comprehensive reviews.
Shadow+ compatible apparently.

Thanks!
No dynamo yet. Front lamp with battery as I don't ride a lot during the night.
I have the Rawland Raidoverk L rack which stays on the bike. And a Tubus Tara for touring with panniers. -

Love this. Good on them. I had some MicroShift shifters at one time and they weren't too bad all things considered. For interested parties don't forget the BS-M11 too which is a lot cheaper if you pair with some £5 SS levers. Maybe a better option as you don't get the non-aero cable, Campag thumb downshift, you can go friction in emergencies, you can drop half down the cassette in one bash of the shifter, you can go Hylex for hydro, etc.
(Insert usual complaint about Shimano being idiots for not supporting 1× and forcing us to bodge this stuff together. For the basically same price you could switch to SRAM 1×11 which is officially supported.)

Someone tell me about this. It looks great at first glance, like a not-quite-poor-but-maybe-middle-class man's Crust, assuming that it's fairly "cheap". The geo chart is messed up but could it stand in as an easy-to-medium-trail-capable MTB with a suspension fork? What travel do we reckon? Will everyone laugh at me if I turn up at Glentress on a bike with a 72 head angle these days?
