  • Some species of False Black Widow Spiders will actually prey on Black Widow Spiders, as well as other spiders which are considered hazardous to humans. False Black Widow Spiders mainly eat crawling insects, especially isopods (sowbugs and pillbugs).

^ From the nets - my argument for not getting rid of them is that they help control other insects that may present a bigger problem.

  • "It's ok mum, they eat the black widow spiders we have here too" - win

  • tbf these are more known for eating less exciting bugs.

  • Nah. I like the first story!

  • For mums who love action.

  • This sounds weird but spiders hate wheat. Crush up a Weetabix and sprinkle it in a little pile the middle of each room that's infesed. Just don't tread in it! Works a charm.

  • Attracts the mice that will eat the spiders

  • Attracts the mice that will eat the spiders

then just sprinkle some cat food. Duh!

  • would you consider this a bargain? or is it an overated frame
    Ritchey P-650B 27.5" MTB Frame - blue : for 430 euros!

    wow!

  • I'm 2 weeks late to the party but this would have been my exact recommendation (including liberte as my friend up until recently was one of their pastry chefs and i stuff myself in there every time i go).

on the same street as liberte (rue des vinaigriers) is a decent coffee shop (craft coffee) and across the canal another decent coffee shop (ten belles)

if you like bao there's a great place along the canal that does burgers in bao buns called siseng which is well worth a visit.

and a couple of streets behind liberte is another bakery called 'du pain et des idees' that sells some pretty famous pistachio and chocolate swirls (escargot) though every time i've been it's been closed :(

  • It’s dumb - a 27.5 bike that’s supposed to be fun but takes a no fun at all 100mm cross country fork.

  • Does anybody know the BCD measurement of the SAMOX AF19 crank?

    Thanks

  • 130mm BCD according to here

EDIT: appears there are many variants. Catalogue here has more information hopefully you can sort something out.

  • Seen that also, but wasn't convinced.

    Cheers.

  • Legend. Cheers

  • One more question, hopefully last for a while....

All the current nuts on my bike are the same size.
Do I need 4x front nuts, 4x rear nuts, or 2x front and 2x back? It doesn't specify on the website whether they are different sizes.

The hexagons are the same size, but the threads are different. Miche are 9×1 front and 10×1 rear, make sure they match your axles as other threads are available. Miche are also 14mm AF, which is fine as far as it goes but doesn't fit the most common 15mm AF peanut butter wrenches, so that's worth thinking about too.

  • Best way to fix a exposure rubber band? Don't want to buy another if I can avoid it.

  • Cheapest way to put 11 speed on the turbo?

Dedicated turbo frame with aero bars. Wahoo Kickr.
    I don't need brakes.
I only have a rear derailleur.

11 speed bar end shifters? They seem cheaper than full levers...
(Then sling some spare single speed levers on if I want to spin on the hoods)

  • If you want actual cheapest use a 7/8/9 speed bar end shifter and derailleur on friction.
