So what? They're plenty wide enough. I live just off lea bridge road and the road is so busy often the only way to cross the damnned thing is to ride supposedly 'against the flow' until you get to a cycle/ped crossing. The behaviour of commuting cyclists who hurtle along there at 15mph+ sending bus passengers flying in all directions (I'm not saying you're one of these btw) leaves a lot to be desired. It's great new infrastructure but there are a few silly things that have happened especially around bus stops. therefore everyone needs to slow downa bit and chill.
So many people cycling the wrong way down the new bike paths on Lea Bridge road. The bits that are finished that is.
Tonight I was told that "in England we drive on the left" as a man attempted to cycle against commuter traffic.
