It looks like the cable will clear the new canti studs just fine, so if you don't mind I will just keep them where they are.

So basically I am just a couple of M5 bosses away from being done.

Yes as it clears fine to leave, but if possible could you slot the bottom cable stop?

Also, don’t worry about the mid fork eyelets - I found a cheap canti mount front rack.

Sure thing.
I can slot them, but it won't be very neat. I would just keep them to be honest.
When travelling just undo rear mech, put in bag and tape to frame. That's what I do. If you want to remove completely I need to slot or change all cable guides.

Makes sense, leave as they are in that case. Thx.

@Hulsroy how do you know what spacing you need for canti bosses? How do you measure where they need to go? Are there any canti brakes you recommend?
Sorry for the million questions, I want to modify one of my frames.

283 from axle center of studs and 80mm apart CTC.
I trust Goodrich.
Re canti brakes: what do you need them for?
I absolutely adore TRP Revox.

But to be honest they are shit brakes all of them. But they look gorgeous and sort of stop you :)

I want to dispense with calipers so I can get clearance for wider rubber and gaurds on my tourer. That and I want to tinker with brazing.
