No, what's clear is that as someone whose Twitter very clearly represents the pro-Brexit Tommy Robson supporter demographic, you are directly contributing to Muslims in the UK-primarily women-being attacked for their beliefs by YOUNG WHITE MALES.
That is the fact of the matter. Whether you jump on every criticism of Islam from every quarter because it advances your personal agenda is neither here nor there.
Again, if you are so passionate about womens' rights, do you participate in actions to support higher conviction rates for sexual violence, support equal pay, and support safe working spaces? Again, these acts of violence and discrimination occur throughout the UK and are perpetuated by men of all faiths and ethnicity, which reflecting our demographics will be 85% white males so you don't need to feel so eager to point the finger at Islam-try looking closer to home.

Here's a question: if I asked you what you yourself believed in, what motivates and guides you, could you answer without posting a YouTube clip of someone else espousing their beliefs?
-
• #404
So you're not going to answer the question?
Stop being a coward.
-
• #405
Bit quicker to make a point.
I'm sharing with you the people who influence my thinking. Maybe they could influence yours too?
No, you're not making any point at all of your own.
What do you think? I ask, because it looks like you have not done any actually thinking of your own.
Prove me wrong.
Otherwise what you stand for, what you truly are, is just an empty shell echoing with other peoples voices.

I have refrained from name-calling
Er, "triggered squids"

• #407
Ha, this still going on?
Thought this yomper stomper nerd would have had enough by now

L&G's we have better things to do than this.
For someone who had the foresight to register a TM 6 years ago - https://trademarks.ipo.gov.uk/ipo-tmcase/page/Results/1/UK00002645769 I find some of the comments on this thread at best 'provocative', at worst retrograde and downright offensive; it baffles me to think that such an intereaction with a large group of cyclists (who have come together because of this forum) can do anything other than harm to a young brand.
Unless of course the aim of the interaction is to be co-opted by a niche.

I have refrained from name-calling, it's futile, so have the same respect back.
Have the courage to show your face and name the people you are taking about - if you fail to do so, I won't continue with the conversation. Stop being a coward.
You posted that despicable thing about a black female under a pseudonym, and you won't face up to questions about it. You've done everything you can to hide and deflect.
If you're so honourable, why not stand up and be answerable?

Interesting that you wished to paint us as Owen Jones fans - yet are happy to appear in the Guardian?

Didn't realise Thom is an outdoor expert now.

You're an absolute cretin, "know more about the topic"?? You know fuck all. Take a seat.

Oooo, I think I know the answer to that one. It's because he's a total cockwomble.
So far the tactics seems straight from the 'I'm a nasty racist cunt but too scared to say so openly' playbook, the three options being:
- The 'bantz' riposte. 'It's just a joke, why are you such a sensitive [squid/snowflake/libtard]?' Delete as appropriate.
- The 'free thinker' pose. 'I'm just throwing thought-provoking ideas around because I'm so enlighted and independently-minded'.
- The 'who me?' tactic. 'I know I've posted Mein Kampf, I've got a picture of Tommy Robinson with hearts all over it on my Facebook page, and I've got a swastika on my T-shirt, but that doesn't mean I'm a racist.'
The thing that always confuses me about most bigots is the fact they appear so embarrassed about it, and try to deny it. I mean, they should be embarrassed about it, but why would you espose a viewpoint and then work so hard to distance yourself from it?
Still waiting for the 'I'm not racist but...' line. Only a matter of time before it or one of its many variants pops up I suspect.
- The 'bantz' riposte. 'It's just a joke, why are you such a sensitive [squid/snowflake/libtard]?' Delete as appropriate.

Can't easily be answered by any variant of the three stock responses, so the 'dodge and distract' option is the only alternative left.
-
• #416
co-opted by a niche
I think you spelled clichΓ© wrong.
-
• #417
Told you so. Dodge and distract it is.
So, who's up for a bingo card?
-
• #418
Didn't somebody already get BINGO on page 9?
-
• #419
Seriously? That's the best you can do?
@danstuff I'm excited for the "Mamnick book of original quotes" to hit the shelf moreso than the bingo set if I'm honest.
-
• #420
They called it, but there's always the opportunity for a new game.

I'm not - they'll just be other people's quotes which CEO Cockwomble has lifted from other people and passed off as his own. Much like the designwork and logos.

• #422
That was the joke...
:|
-
• #423
Ah. Yes. Ooops. Where did I leave that coat of mine...
-
• #424
Oh lord.
I presented you with evidence that your political leanings are making Muslim women in the UK subject to violent assault by white males. Funny how you don't respond to that evidence but can blissfully trot out convenient, glib shite like this a minute later.
You're either a moron or a troll, or both, it doesn't really matter.

• #425
yeah but that quote about racism was said by a black guy - you can tell 'cos there's a picture of a black guy next to it - which makes it SUPER true. Checkmate cucktard etc.
Le chortle.
