Of course, I also made sure to ask him to put it back exactly as it was after he was done... That was over six months ago... I even got his builders to send me their insurance company details just in case anything went wrong...
But you can never prepare for your neighbour being a complete cunt... The amount of rows it's caused in this house is ridiculous, just because my missus doesn't want any trouble and the whole time this guy is just kicking back ignoring my texts, emails, etc... He will put it right and he'll pay for the whole thing, his missus is on his case now... Probably the only way to get through to him... Wanker...

PS Our neighbour still hasn't fixed our fucking fence... My dearly beloved has started communicating with Mrs Neighbour, sounds like the poor woman is living in hell... Terrible communicator, awful DIY obsessive, grumpy as fuck... New fence was supposed to go in today, I sent him a message saying I expected the fence to look exactly the same as it did before he took it down to build his new garage and the fence guy was suddenly cancelled... I'm ready to punch this twat in the fucking nuts...
