So after over two and a half years of managing to not open a bottle of Pappy 15, I was hit with hard times and it went up for auction. There was another 15 but slightly more recently bottled which fetched £750 iirc, mine made it to £825, not bad considering it cost me £242. If only it was still possible to purchase for £130 as it was about 6 years ago. Doubt I'll ever be buying another, or at least not until I have a enough money that and a grand and a half for a 700ml of bourbon to drink is reasonable or until the price comes back down.
There was a 23 which fetched £1550.
tl;dr Pappy is stupid expensive
