Surely in Australia there should be some sort of regulation stating that you have to have a V8 ute as primary car, then secondary cars can be a Mazda/whatever?

Mandatory bush hat, etc.

Unfortunately, Mr H has vitoed the Civic based on size and being too rude
Bwaaaaaaak!

• #44582
she clearly hasn't experienced Vtec
-
• #44583
Yep, it needs a bulb replacing. Minor job.
-
• #44585
Wait I'm confused. I thought we were recommending @umop3pisdn a civic
-
• #44586
If you would recommend them that would be great. Do you happen to know if they have experience with matt/satin paint?
-
• #44587
Well mrsupsidedown has decided she likes the Nissan Juke courtesy car now, so hopefully a Honda shouldn't be a big leap.
-
• #44588
Get out
-
• #44589
But seriously if she's stuck on a Juke, I don't think you can go wrong, it's a very big selling car in the UK for a reason.

Maybe not a good idea...overheating/fire issues

What's the car?

Nothing very good in the sub 4k price range though.
I'd consider a new PCP with them if I was @umop3pisdn . Currently, a new Juke is 0% apr at £179 a month.

So this is unfolding outside my office. Oops.
-
• #44594
Is that a real 356?
-
• #44595
Seems not. Apparently it's a Chesil replica.
-
• #44596
Our sadly absent Targa driving friend is considering an electric Chesil Speedster.

Is that true? I've found that the early ones had recalls due to a plastic hose needing to be replaced with a rubber one. But otherwise there seems to be no Internet chat compared to say porkers IMS or the wastegate rattle on beemers.

We will not be buying a Juke.
Isn't PCP the new sub-prime morgage financial crisis?
-
• #44599
The Golf Plus tends to have a lower resale value than the hatch. £4k would be a push for a decent one but you might be able to.
For eg out near Reading

mrsupsidedown's Dad sold his Golf Estate earlier this year for peanuts, frustratingly.
£4k isn't really a limit if 0% finance is available (will it be?)
Is this a moth joke?
