Was set up as left-handed. Strings are low quality and oooooold. Snapped the high E because it was so brittle. Removed all the strings, bridge fell off as is a loose piece of wood. Good too, as it sets the action way high. Frets are corroded from poor storage.
Flipped the nut 180 degrees, some of the tuning machines are a bit shoddy. Could do with being replaced.
Slapped on three top strings off the old Kimbara classical guitar.
Sound is quite nice from my top three strings, but the steel E/A/D sound awful.
Will think about buying some mid range classical/Spanish strings and maybe fabricate/buy a lower bridge, or else cut down the original a little.
Definitely poorly treated, and likely low low quality. No idea of provenance, but I love its shape.
