Lots of options (such as this https://www.traystatus.com/ ) to show the status in the taskbar.
Wouldn't be surprised if Win10 had something native, maybe in accessibility or whatever it's called.

Unless they are causing issues whilst used, i.e. have loads of slop in them, I wouldn't touch them :)
Wonderful advice. Thank you.

Gauntlets look good. dual purpose as you can use them to challenge people to duel when they don't rinse their plates before the dishwasher

Cheers, the Lakeland ones look a little longer than the one I have but they could do the job (although a little pricey). Nisbets only seem to have long wrists

do you know a workaround on windows10 for this?
Make "Shift" turn off caps lock. Might be a setting in input devices or a registry hack, I can't remember. If you remember to tap shift before typing, you'll know that caps lock is off.

No problem. Glad you have it sorted.

If something on planetx is due in stock in a few months but I order it with other things do they hold the rest of the order until the item is in stock or do 2 shipments?
I seem to be only being charged one delivery fee so I'm just wondering -

i dont want to open a word pad and try typing stuff
Just push fucking capslock and re-enter your password if it doesn't work.

Why fuck about with heavy metals and welding gloves in the kitchen? Just walk into a shop and buy a set of oven gloves that look decent.

I'm also in the market for broadband, the catch is we're in the process of selling up and moving in with the in-laws, so don't want to be tied into a 12-18month contract. Any recommendations for rolling contracts, or providers with small exit fees?
Boring update - SSE Fibre @ £24p.m. (inc. Line Rental), plus no setup fee as I'm already an SSE energy customer and up to £125 Quidco cashback. Prices frozen for 3 years if you're an existing energy customer.

Wow. Tasty.

whichever option you'd least prefer usually.

Just walk into a shop and buy a set of oven gloves that look decent. What do they cost, like 5 quid?
Bit slow response. But IMO oven gloves from shops are never cheap and are often shit and don't offer enough insulation.

The plan is to elope with your missus to South America in a few months time. As such I will need to brush up on my Spanish.
Are any of the language course apps actually worth the money/effort? Or online courses?
-
• #93745
Pretty sure 'my missus' speaks Spanish so you'll be fine.
-
• #93746
Yeah sorry, didn't mean to imply otherwise.
I did Spanish in school, but it's getting rusty. -
• #93747
Some of the apps are OK for basics for free, duo lingo and memrise. I have a tendency to try and learn stuff a month before going somewhere, make some progress, then everyone will speak English and I'll forget everything. I remember listening to the first 2 podcasts for a different way of learning Spanish that had a lot of potential, but I never carried it on.

Thanks.
Had a fiddle with Duolingo and it seems pretty good in terms of showing me where my weak spots are. Might even be convinced to pay for the premium content. Memrise is well made, but it still has a little of that cringeyness that seems unavoidable in language teaching. -

Shimano SL-6400, 600 Ultegra (7sp)
Will it work with an 8 Speed Shimano rear der. , and 8 speed Shimano cassette? Or will it run out of clicks and not reach the full range of the cassette? Ta!
You could disable CapsLock entirely, so you know it's always off. You'll find a registry key for this with a web search. Or probably someone's written a program to do this. I have it disabled on my home desktop in software, but that software is proprietary to the keyboard.
