  • guys, question about the capslock, in my new asus laptop there is no light to show that i activated the capslock, so when typing passwords its always impossible to know if they r activated or not, do you know a workaround on windows10 for this? (i dont want to open a word pad and try typing stuff)

    THX

  • You could disable CapsLock entirely, so you know it's always off. You'll find a registry key for this with a web search. Or probably someone's written a program to do this. I have it disabled on my home desktop in software, but that software is proprietary to the keyboard.

  • Lots of options (such as this https://www.traystatus.com/ ) to show the status in the taskbar.

Wouldn't be surprised if Win10 had something native, maybe in accessibility or whatever it's called.

Make "Shift" turn off caps lock. Might be a setting in input devices or a registry hack, I can't remember. If you remember to tap shift before typing, you'll know that caps lock is off.

Just push fucking capslock and re-enter your password if it doesn't work.
