• So the frame is currently at mail redirection depot in New Jersey awaiting customs clearance (quiver/ gulp).

I've acquired a Sram Red 22 gruppo consisting of front and rear derailleur, crankset and shifters.
I need to get brakes and I think I'm just going to get the Red brakes to match the rest of the groupset.
I'm strongly considering selling the Red crankset and purchasing an S-Works FACT crankset. Massive weight saving of 4g and increased stiffness being the obvious deciding factors here.

I can't decide what hubs to go for. I'm leaning towards Tune Mig/ Mag but I don't particularly want to pay for a new set and I'm kicking myself that I didn't buy the set someone sold on here for £150 a while ago...
Any other recommendations for lightweight hubs that aren't silly money? I'm probably going to go for some LightBicycle Chinese crabon rims but can't decide if I want tubular or clincher and whether I want low profile for the weight non-gainz or deep profile for the aero gainz? Also unsure of how many spokes I'll want to be having, I'm about 80kg-ish.

Still kind of keen on the Deda Elementi Superleggero finishing kit but I'll have a think about that and any suggestions welcome.

I'll take some pictures of the groupset tomorrow. There's a terrible lack of photos here so far.

  • I’d say superzero finishing kit, still light, but more hench and aero.

S works cranks are awesome, the previous gen looks better than the latest one I think.

In terms of wheels, the correct answer is both. Deeper aero wheels AND lower profile lightweight. You should be able to get it below 7kg easily, and 6kg with some lightweight wheels and parts.
