It's a bit of a mare, I wish I knew someone truly great, especially for acoustics.
Maybe consider hopping a train to see Feline in Croydon... some good things are said.
Google will probably have coughed up GP in Lewisham for you. Only been once... he totally fucked up a nut for my acoustic and was bad-tempered about putting it right, though I suppose he did (poorly).

Drove from SE23 to take my my acoustic to Chandler’s in Kew. Was worth the trip.

Is Brinsley still working?

The Harrow guy is Bill Puplett, he refretted my 330. He's the best and I love him but his waiting list is a year...

That's the guy... Didn't realise he was that popular... I always meant to take my Tele Deluxe up to him, never did... Needs an expert hand, still not 100%...

I think Bill is jammed with work these days because everyone knows he looks after Marr and Gallagher's stuff.
Brinsley Schwartz is a great call. I wonder if he's still at Chandler's in Kew. The other west option @No_Sense_Needed would be Charlie Chandler's in Hampton Wick, their set-ups are ace, though a bit spendy, and they tend to over-sell Plek.

Brinsley is still at Chandlers. Lovely guy. He did a great job with my acoustic refret

Thanks for all the advice... so many options. I’m torn between going to Felines (local) or taking the trip to Chandler’s.
Last question... has anyone tried the guitar Hospital aka John Armitage in Bermondsey? His CV looks strong.

My stock recommendation in here is for Phillipe Dubrielle in Denmark street. Easy to get to and he’ll do a great job.

Chandlers in Kew shut a couple years back?
http://www.musicinstrumentnews.co.uk/2016/09/23/chandler-guitars-close/
I live pretty close and I'm pretty sure it's not there anymore

Heh. No way.
Thinking about it now, it must have been three years ago I was last there.
Christ, time flies eh?

Yeah, it's a shame that closed down!

Hampton Wick always sounds like rhyming slang to me.

Not really sure what the benefits are - looks a bit different, which is kind of cool. I think you just watch out for the break angle?
Another bridge question - I'm going to buy a TOM soon for my new LP build. Any recommendations different to the Gotoh / Wilkinson ones I'd usually go for? I don't really know much about hardware so happy for any ideas.

I need a living room amp for the basement kitchen/diner/living room/playroom where we spend 90% of our waking hours. I Have the pedal board set up into the champ in the “studio”/ grown-up evening living room upstairs but, even at 5w with an 8” Weber it’s really too loud to get working in a Victorian terrace without pissing off neighbors and waking babies. Maybe something like a micro cube with a couple of effects for conversation level noodling in front of the T.V or in the background while firstborn watches TV and Mrs Fatberg tends to imminent secondborn a level or two up.
Ideas?

Any good suggestions on guitar setups in south east London? I’m in need of both an acoustic and an electric set up.
I’ve done a google search but I’d like any local advice.
