I've just been trying to spend some time running for the past few weeks, not overdo it but to get a bit of conditioning.
I'd like to build up to a marathon mid-2019 (if we can leave the country then), and shorter term to bring my 5k time as close to my record (~20min) as possible over the next few months.
What would the running hive-mind recommend that I do in terms of both distance and type of running?
I’d aim to change where you’re doing 10km to 20km to get the miles in.
Is there a reason for so many 5km sessions? Making two of those sessions race pace intervals. I don’t what your schedule is but I imagine these are before or after work?
