Mustard is Satan's condiment. Horrible stuff. Especially the local variants.

On the subject of mustard, anyone know of a decent, hot yellow ("English") mustard? Colmans just doesn't, errr, cut the mustard anymore, Heinz mustard, labelled hot, is frankly flouting the trades descriptions act. Just want a good, hot, hotter-the-better, mustard for me sarnies. No cheating with added horseradish, wasabi or whatevs. Oh! And it needs to be available in the cultural dead end that is Somerset

Make your own with mustard powder.

What James said. Colmans from a jar has always been too sweet and too mild. It's junk.
Buy a tin of the powder. It's cheaper, better and will blow your moobs off.
