Another month with no running goes by...
Last proper run was May 15th for me. Apathy, summer holidays and a dodgy foot to blame, but mostly apathy.
Called today Day 1 of the new regime as daughter is back in proper school routine (so I get my Mondays back to myself) and the mad panic at work has died down a bit. 98.45kg this morning, want to be under 80kg for London Marathon in April 2019. Hmm.
Not quite up for running yet (although still playing ~2h of 5-a-side a week) and wanted to test out the foot so did a HM walk this afternoon (after a 3.2km swim). Feel utterly broken but happy, and not eating everything in sight yet. Will start gentle running again when weight under 95kg and be ready (i.e. happy doing 10k) by the time the usual 20 week Marathon programme starts around late December.
I sacked off a 10k event yesterday. Instead, we had cake at the garden centre.
I have a hilly half at the Eden Project mid-October, which looks more andore like I'll be just trying to get round without causing any permanent damage.
