Thinking about whether to upgrade my grinder. Have a Krups GVX2 but wondering about whether a Baratza Encore or similar will make a noticeable difference. Any recommendations on home grinders for £150 or less? This is mainly for filter/ pourover - so don't need to grind for espresso.

I had one of those Krups things (two, actually; they tend to wear out after a few years).

Then got a Baratza, after the 2nd Krups gave up. It's considerably better.

Cool, might take the plunge then. My Krups still works after 4 years despite the button falling off. Might keep it as a spare.
