I'd still recommend saving for a good grinder
How much dollar for a good grinder roughly? I dont mind investing a little if Im going to have it for a few years. Local stores: I imagine so, living in Brighton so the absolute hipster central. I might just buy a small quantity from a local joint and see if I like it

I've found that the pre-ground moka stuff from Illy et cetera is too fine (though admittedly haven't tried for over a decade). Do local stores grind for you? Many around here do, in whatever size you wish. I'd still recommend saving for a good grinder, you'd pretty much only have to buy once.
