interesting to see what Vodafone do with sim prices for the watches, the EE model has put me off previously but I have a dream of ditching a phone and just having a watch....

apparently calling sounds like being on conference and standing as far as you can in the room from the microphone

With some headphones I imagine it would be identical to being on the phone, as it were?

XR is overpriced with a relatively shit screen.

Still they claim that it's the most colour accurate display in a smart phone and that's unbeatable in my opinion

Can headphones be used with the watch?

I had assumed so, but may be totally wrong.

I've used my bose headphones with my apple watch - no phone required.

They claim it’s more accurate than the flagship XS, do they?

Most accurate LCD screen no? Not as accurate as the OLED though

I’m assuming that the 5se will still be able to run the latest iOS? My missus loves her 5s and I’ve been telling her to upgrade to a 5se for a while. Pretty sure she’s not going to take to having a bigger phone, seeing as how she views my 6 as huge!!!

this is very much a Bluetooth headphone situation and only really for emergency calls, I don't tend to phone people for a chat anyway!

I didn't watch the keynote in whole, so they might've said it differently, but it seems like the OLED is best in class and so is the LCD, but within their respective technologies

I think my future holds an iPhone 8, simply because it's not yuge.

Ranting elsewhere about the discontinuation of the SE meant someone messaged me with an offer for a good condition second hand 32GB SE for £80. Result.

Looking for another SE (32GB min, unlocked, don't care about colour) for a similar price...

I got a 16GB SE, white, unlocked, will sell it if I can find the next model up with 32gb storage?

Thinking of selling my iPad 2018 model with Apple Pencil support.

Everything in absolutely immaculate 10/10 condition, with all boxes and paperwork and accessories.

It was bought in Apple Store in the USA in May 2018. Everything works as if bought in local Apple Store, the only thing is that the iPad charging adapter is US one. So either you already have one at home or use adapter.

RRP for everything above in UK would be £482.

I’d like £350 for all in and I’ll throw pretty nice padded, zippered sleeve with extra pocket.

Missus just bit the bullet and got a 5se, she’s been moaning about her phone for a while, so I’m happy it’s finally sorted.
Now question is do I upgrade the iPhone 6 I have. I’m on giff gaff, so it’d be phone only. Incremental upgrade to the 7 or 8, worth it? Don’t really have a grand sitting in an account to buy the X.

It’s perfect that the new name basically sounds like “Maximum Excess”.

iOS12 feels noticeably snappier on a 6s. You can interact with things mid animation (opening and closing) which probably gives it that feeling.

Updating the missus’ 5s which is a dog on iOS11. Hopefully it improves things there as well.
