I’m thinking about moving some time in the next 12-18 months. Has anyone got any experience of de-chaining themselves?
What I am considering doing is putting my place on the market and moving into rented accommodation once that completes. This will allow me to be more opportunistic when I see the place I want. The other benefit is I can try out living in a new area of London to see if I like it before buying.
Obviously Brexit complicates things, but I wonder if this might present long-term buying opportunities.
