I don't think he has a personal sponsor. He's a quality rider, but, like many north American riders, he's struggled with the constant fight for position that is a feature of European races, but is never an issue in the US.
He should be a good signing for AG2R, he's exactly the sort of support rider that Bardet needs for the mountains.
I wonder how much Warbasse will be paid. It's a buyer's market. Or maybe he has a personal sponsor like Dan Craven had at Europcar.
I'd also guess that he did his cause a lot of good by doing the no-job tour; when there are so many riders of generally equal ability looking for work, the ones with the best social media profile have that little bit extra to offer a team.
