I think so, that's what my limited understand of what the vet was saying... To be honest, he had a student there so he threw me more tech terms than he usually does, probably to show off... :-)
When he showed me her gum, there is a spot of very red gum with clear margins directly above the troubled tooth, the rest of the gum looks absolutely fine.

poor patch - vets trips are never nice + teeth removal - ugh - is this the weird thing where the teeth get re-absorbed back into the gum in a very painful process?
