Hadn't thought about the glue. But do feel somewhat vindicated in my assessment of the construction.
It's in Kent, so unfortunately the zipvan costs jump up to the range of a man and a van.
Despite my earlier comment - I suspect they wouldn't glue a table top to the frame as well as screwing it. I think you could expect the tabletop to change shape (humidity / temperature changes) sufficient to weaken a glue joint over time.
You'll probably be ok.
