I’m enjoying it and have suddenly become a completist! Still a ways to go but need to head to musphelheim to upgrade the armour as I’m coming across some opponents a couple of levels over and above where I am.
Just about to try and unlock some of the valkryies whilst doing some of the side dwarf quests, but I’ll need to be more skilful in my fighting to get past them. Currently a bit of button masher and am letting the bow boy do a lot of the heavy lifting from long distance.. -

Yeah, I've got all the peripherals.

Crazy that 54% of people who bought the game have completed it.
I'm doing the Musphelheim trials currently. Then I'll do the Valkryies and call it a day.

Is that a lot or not enough.
I went off on a side quest to break a statue of Thor and then got dragged into rescuing a dragon, which opened up some decent armour and haven’t looked back -

It’s far higher than the average AAA title.
I did all the side quests before the main story. Freed the dragons etc. Kept it interesting.

Doing them on an ad hoc basis as I go along, do couple of side quests, return to main story, and repeat...
I’m particularly enjoying the treasure hunts. -

I really hope The Sinking City will be at least decent. I can live with rough edges, but, please, let the game itself be decent.

If anyone is done playing through God of War and is interested in a trade for a different game, hit me up.

Something along these lines probably (although I know nothing about the AMD apus so no idea if that's a better option).

is there much noticeable difference between a gtx 1060 6gb and a rx580 8gb?
-
• #19464
580 is better

I just tried to make a good and cheap Intel based PC build but it ended up at £800.

The i3-8100 performs nearly as well as that i5 7600 for nearly half the price. The 8th gen processors look to be a significant step up.

Cheers, someone is selling a used for 580 for 150 that I might snap up. Will I be hampered by the i3?
Edit. was a bit slow
-
• #19468
I might be too actually. Well, 570. I have a few bits kicking about if interested. Also no, cpu bottlenecking is over stated. I’m running a 1070 egpu with a U class laptop cpu and it doesn’t bottleneck much at all. i3’s are great chips.

Power supply is overkill, 500W bronze should fine at about £40
-
• #19470
I respectfully disagree, much better to have some headroom in the power for the sake of £30 or £40, an over specced PSU isn't going to draw more power than it needs but will draw that lower power more consistently.
-
• #19471
Just checked and the power supply spec for a system with that card is 400W; it only draws 120W.
A 750W PSU isn't going to have any benefit over a 400W one of the same quality. You would just be buying almost double what you need.
