I just had my new timber, double-glazed sash windows installed last weekend. Measured up myself and had them made by Eurostyl in Poland. Nice quality, and cost me just under £4k for 7 windows with custom paint job, secure by design locks, blah, blah. Got my builder to install with an additional hand for two days, so that's £400 labour, but I need some finishing plaster work and architraves re-fitted.

Wow, what kind of size windows? That’s not far off (in fact probably less after extras) than we were quoted for refurbs of existing sashes! Shame to lose the original glass mind.

Yeah if you can refurb your current windows would be a shame to throw away the history tbh, if they are original

These are the windows, so I guess standard Victorian London 3-bed house size.
