Did @dbr have some nice new windows put in recently?

I’m very happy with my Velfac windows so far - they quote pretty quick too. The pricing was a bit mad, jumped around a few thousand both ways then eventually settled on what we think is a pretty good deal... may have been a mistake on their part.

I just had my new timber, double-glazed sash windows installed last weekend. Measured up myself and had them made by Eurostyl in Poland. Nice quality, and cost me just under £4k for 7 windows with custom paint job, secure by design locks, blah, blah. Got my builder to install with an additional hand for two days, so that's £400 labour, but I need some finishing plaster work and architraves re-fitted.

Current reccos for double-glazing companies? Looking for timber or alu. Had a not unreasonable (I think) quote from Kloeber but would like something to compare to. Ta.
