Anyone else very excited about this?
-
• #133
You bet I am!

• #134
Still to early to call it, but a cursory glance to https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/map is promising as well!

To be honest I'm a little scared. Just been thinking back on how little riding I've done recently. But we're riding through south east England, it's hardly outer Mongolia, even if I have a total breakdown worst I'm facing is a couple of hours kip on a bench waiting for the first train home.

I'm so excited, I'm day-dreaming about carrying on to Dover, ferrying to Calais, riding to Dieppe, ferrying to Newhaven over the Sunday/Monday night and finally taking the train back to London on Monday morning.
Only adds about 125 miles...

So much excite.

^^ that man loves a ferry!
Did I miss the definitive route getting posted up somewhere - or are we all taking our own version and peeling off in slightly different directions as soon as we leave PB (TCR style)?

There was an idea that we could cross on the Gravesend ferry but first sailing was far too late for us.

yeah I am looking forward to finishing my commute tomorrow and getting home and taping various tools and morsels to my track frame so I can go without bag.
the powerballs are ready. @middleofnowhere I have done no way near the amount of riding I would have liked to have done this year.
but I got these things and a couple have your name on them.
they are powerballs.
that is what they are.

What bags do you wanna borrow? I’ve got all sorts. So do others.
-
• #144
Ohhh, intriguing. What are they and more importantly, where are you planning to tape them?
-
• #145
This is an important question. But what’s even more important is, did anyone find a laminator to make YAL’s spoke cards?!?
-
• #146
The definitive route posting will happen this evening.

I am good dude. I have a wide range of bags already. Just hoping to travel light enough not to need one.

Mainly date and cashew nut. Bit of coconut, oil and flake. That’s it. Will bag em and squeeze into jersey pocket. Will put yours in separate bag. They will be squashed though. But you ain’t gonna give a fuck when you feel the power they give

Right, the definitive route is getting posted:
Part 1:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27889095
Part 2:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28479403
The total amounts to a cool 115 miles (actually 114.5). As with any long running project, we've gone over-budget slightly, but I'm sure we'll be fine.
I'll now go and edit the first post.

Nice one.
And when in doubt, Follow the Bear(ds)..
My knee seems to be getting better these days but I haven't ridden fixed in ages so I'll carry on with the geared machine.
