I will probably lose the adaptor.. I mostly use Bluetooth to cast to a speaker at home, don't listen to music when riding.
It is stupid to get rid of the jack though.

I miss the parallel port to let me plug in a dot matrix printer.

Did you used to fold the two bits together into a springy snake?

I didn't know they'd finally come up with a Tasks app:

Bricked my Nubia trying to flash a custom ROM- anyone handy with a flashing tool that could confirm it is actually dead? Thought about doing it myself but CBA researching tools and methods now having taken a while to ultimately break my phone.

It's not all there yet, can't share/collaborate with other people at the moment, has promise though.

That never really bothered me about original tasks. I've been using it embedded into gmail for years. I'm trying to get the missus onto it though so collab tasks would be neat.

I migrated to Keep from GMail tasks, as the latter was so shit.
-
• #19987
We use keep, need to share stuff for work though, I'm sure it'll get built in as everything else Google does it and it's really useful
-
• #19988
I just need something to bash text into quickly, sort and check off.
I tried Keep but it pissed me off for some reason so didn't use it. Maybe it was because it wasn't so closely integrated with gmail.

Anyone planning on buying a Poco F1? On the fence now that the actual price is a bit higher than expected.
-
• #19990
Was looking at it...seen it for £265 but not sure I want a huge phone at 6.19" tis pretty big
-
• #19991
Same, it's not terrible as the screen goes right to the edges, but would still prefer smaller. Sadly it's getting pretty hard to find phones under 6" with decent specs.

Crossposting from any question answered:
My mum had the Galaxy Note 3 for a few years which is too slow now to do anything really. Is the Galaxy S8 Plus a good choice for around £350? That or the iPhone 7 Plus when prices drop in a few weeks.
Specs should be somewhat highendish. Good display, camera and battery are most important I suppose. -

Just got a Xiaomi Mi A2 for the wife. Its really nice for the money. Now I have to buy a better phone. Can't be having a less good phone. That'll never do.

New A8 is pretty good, although I'd still get an A5 as there's not much in it.
Where are you finding an S8+ for that money? -
• #19995
I'm not. I'm trying to convince my parents to buy something awesome for a bit more moneyz

i have a calendar which is secure
I can export it to outlook using the password, but I want to use google calendar. Unfortunately g calendar doesn't appear to support this.
Can I export the secure calendar to a non-secure place, then add it to google calendar that way? Anyone tried this?

Time for Mum to upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy III Mini.
I'm thinking a Moto G6 for her. Any reason not to?

Is it the 4gb/64gb or the 3gb/32gb?
Currently comparing it with the Moto G5s and G5s Plus.
They seem to be the same except for the Motos having gorilla glass and the Xiaomi having an option of 4gb/64gb.

4/64
We purchased via Bang Good. Shipping was slow and got stung slightly for customs.
Apparently they do have Gorilla glass too.

Cheers
Have a look at OnePlus 5T. £100 cheaper and has a headphone jack.
Camera is not as great but still bloody good for a phone.
