  • Interesting choice of decals!

  • Yeah might get rid of them, they came on it when I got it.

    +abr thanks!

  • I neglected to mention that I think your bike looks great regardless!

  • This is cool, dying to be skidded everywhere

  • thanks, I'm liking it a lot already.

+alialias it will be, dont worry!

    Has anyone any mudguard recommendations?

  • There is a whole thread about Mudguards.

Depends on what you like the look of and what you're willing to spend. And maybe the clearance on that front fork (although it looks pretty big). SKS Bluemals/longboard, PDW, Giles Berthoud, etc.

  • Lovely. What fork is it?

  • Fork is a gusset fork, which matches the measurement of the original
pomp fork but has the v mounts removed, brake hose guide added and
rack/guards bosses added. The back of the fork crown is drilled and
threaded to accept mudguards also. All the bosses are brazed in, not
riveted. Done by the head mechanic /welder in Cloud9 in London.

    Was what I was told.

I really like the look of the forks, definite selling point for me, not a massive fan of the og ones. I'll post up a few more pics when it's finished.

edit- thanks btw! Your green one is the best I've ever seen, is your basket a medium wald? Trying to decide on what size to get

  • Cheers dude. My basket is the Wald 1372GB.

  • Anyone interested in a medium V2 frame?

  • Price and pics please

  • Sorry just clocked this! Gonna make a thread this weekend

  • Anyone has color id of blue pompino v4? I'm ordering disc fork from Rychtarski and need to specify the color. Or should I go with a different color of the fork?

  • I’d go different colourperosnally. How much is fork setting you back ?

  • Yes I'm thinking about diferent colors, this blue is boring.
    140eur/125 gbp

  • What specs? Thats very reasonable for a custom fork

  • Columbus tubing, lugged, 45mm rake, 380 a-c, disc brake mount, mudguard and rack holes.
Only paid advance, I guess there is still a lot to discus with the builder.
Alternatives for me were: soma cromo fork, omnium cxc carbon. Kind of not sure about carbon for commuting, I'm not very careful...
I will post pics when it's finished

  • Why are you going for a fork that will be shorter than the standard? Will be a pain for tyre clearance and possibly handling

  • Typo, 390 a-c, but Im considering 400. I read that 390 was standard for pompetamine. I have to measure my pompino fork to be sure.

  • Cool. I've got an all city nature boy disc fork on my pomp and it's splendid
