squier jazzmaster baritone is nice but i personally would choose the danelectro, regularly sell for around £200 and danos are generally ace.
I have a bass VI but would like a baritone too so maybe at christmas

I've pulled the trigger on a new Dano just because I was kind of fussy on exact spec and couldn't get the one I wanted exactly anywhere else but I'm pleased with the choice, I think the lipsticks are going to be a lot more me then the mini-humbuckers would have been (I hope).
Plan is to see how I get on with baritone and if it really is the missing link in guitar/ bass playing I've always wanted.
If it turns out to be the great success I hope it will be I might start looking into either a custom build (not Fender) Telemaster Baritone...
or a Millimetric MGBS3
... both of which I have a huge crush on at the moment...

So... after much dawdling I've decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a baritone.
I had done the deal on an S-Works Allez frameset and the fecker sold it to one of his club pals before I could collect it so rather than starting another build I've decided to redirect that moolah into music kit.
Gretsch G5265 is the likely choice at the moment.
Danelectro '56 is also a contender although I feel like the Gretsch might have a bit more clarity...
Any other considerations I'm not thinking of? Really really keen on Supro Hampton baritone but I'm concerned the short scale length won't be what I want...
