That stem will flex when braking on the hoods. You don’t want that.

I gather it doesn't flex anywhere near that much in reality, that's just illustrative. Some reviewers seem to like it.
To be honest I think it's way overkill and I don't think it's really worth worrying about the fork being too stiff when you're riding on tubeless (I presume) 47mm tyres.
Here's another option for a bit more compliance:
Edit: Amey's new bike: 800mm wide drop bars, floppy stem, truss fork, 47mm tyres - Ultimate Compliance™

There is no way this next bike will be any more functional than the Genesis. You're just rearranging the deckchairs on DBAD

Amey could I interest you in 1970’s aircooled 911’s? You’ll find much more capacity for spending.

How short are you going to make the chainstays on this titanium thing? Hoping for something ridiculous like 390mm with split seat tube
Your bikes are all too sensible right now

I currently have one of these in my possetion. Is pretty ugly, but I’ll get that side of things sorted. Seems pretty beefy. Has all kinds of weirdo touring holes and attachments all
Over it.

Amey get that Spork and give Rob carte blanche.
I bet @coldharbour would LOVE to make some of those.
