Can you keep the Moots for me for a couple more months pls thx.

Do they make a CNC flat mount dropout, or is it Paragon's stuff? Their own CNC yokes look amazing. And deffo go for the Cyrillic script.
As for steel forks, please don't.

• #2759
I agree 100%

Waltly and TJD do

But then who makes the fork I want in carbon?
I think Paragon, top left one

I don't mind the Spork but I agree they are chunky. Cyfac has been making carbon forks with mounts for low riders for a long time, I'm sure they can help (don't rely on their website, it doesn't feature all of their work, so call or email).

Why do you hate tapered steel fork?
-
• #2764
that fork probably weighs more than the frame!
-
• #2765
its 800g
-
• #2766
That looks OK but also really harsh. I guess it's mitigated somehow by the air volume.
If you must go steel there's Igleheart or Talbot's Maximum Gainz I guess. -
• #2767
Igleheart
^^ thats igle .. Triton said they can make the same using Paragon tapered steerer.
I have quotes from igle and winter, they seem reasonable and same price as Spork.

A lot of reputable framebuilders outsource their forks to him, quality and design must be the very best. I also wonder if the top "segments" bring some compliance to balance off the thick straight legs.
I'd be interested in @coldharbour explaining his MG fork in more details. -
• #2769
if I ask him to make the MG fork in flat mount and all that, he might give up bicycle business and hole up in Himalayas
It's me.

He gets asked far worse.

Need to move my Shimano/Hope RX4s onto a new bike with internal routing.
A. - I'll need new olives, yes?
B. - the brakes will need bleeding after this has been done.
Correct?

No wonder he's gone quiet of late.
-
• #2773
You should hear what some asshat asked him for today...

• #2774
Well now I just want to see what new shininess you've ordered.
