  • If it's a kinetic watch (movement charges the battery) then it shows your charge level.

  • Seriously just take a link, a half link and a ruler in to the shop. Sounds like she was just trying to do you a favour based on inaccurate information.

  • All this digi talk has reminded me i have a james bond seiko somewhere in a drawer, My dad bought it new in the 70's in a duty free - I need to dig that out! i think it's the G757-405A

  • or maybe this one...

  • I saw a NOS one of those in an antiques shop in Essex.
    £475 I think.
    Was well nice.

  • Omega won’t order, or sell you, a link for your bracelet unless you can tell them the serial number. Which is annoying when you don’t have the watch with you as the bracelet is too long.

  • Might be worth looking on Cousins website.

  • Had a look, need the part number it seems.

  • You could always ask your friendly fellow forum member and Omega stockist ........

  • one on the way for you. will let you know when here.

  • Great service @ejay2.0

  • Looks really good that. Ironically the day before I saw this post I'd bought a citizen eco drive from the jewellers, luckily it was on sale at half price so I was only out by about £30 from Creation. I'll definitely use them in the future with the Royal Mail option. Thanks for the pointer.

  • one on the way for you. will let you know when here.

    Thanks! Appreciate it.

  • My pleasure.
I know if I had one you'd have bought from me originally.

  • Pretty chuffed with this, 35 looks good on my tiny wrist.
    Original crown and buckle.

Might look a bulkier strap that hides the long lugs better.

  • That was quick, nice catch!

  • aye, badly listed advert with terrible photos, managed to get the guys mobile number and he whatsapped me some better photos. all round happy.

Tempted to try find an original stretch bracelet too but they dont seem easy to come by

  • lovely!

  • Anybody fancy a bargain seamaster 300 diver before I send off to get serviced / refurbed . Keeping good time but can’t speak for water resistancy .

  • Oh, that is outstanding. I love it. You’ve got those late-60’s details like the seconds hand and dial markers, but with a 50’s style case.

This model is very interesting because I believe that the MoD actually trialled using it as a “Diving Supervisors Watch”. Early versions were prototypes which shared parts with the Lemania Diving Supervisor.

  • Well good. Love that seconds hand.

  • very cool. not sure i dare take it anywhere near water through.

  • I'd like an Explorer i for my birthday in November and have been on a list at WoS for months but not heard anything. I want to buy brand new which likely rules out Chrono24 etc. What else should I be doing/am I missing?

  • Brand new why? Are you buying a tool watch to wear on special occasions?

    Not being rude, Just asking.
