  • Hey everyone,

I bought my frame off the bay a few years back and built it up as a loyal London beater.

It’s clearly a moser super prestige but I was in a bike shop the other day and was told by a man (who seemed to know a lot) That he’d never seen the paint job before.

Am I beating around a rare or limited version of this frame?! Or would love a bit of background info if anyone’s got any. Thanks

  • Is there any Moser panto work on the frame, can't see any in the pics?

  • It doesn't look like a Moser to me, but the forum expert on all things Moser will be able to help.

  • Ah thank you. I went thorugh bikes with B but forgot about these. Cheers

  • Hi, looking for some info on a Pinarello frame. It is a Banesto Replica, made from Pinarello Event tubing - which I've never heard of before. Has Pinarello dropouts front and rear and some nice details. Thanks in advance!

  • No pictures unfortunately, but about half a year ago I came across a track frame that had ladybugs on the lugs. If I remember correctly it was a track racer, maybe in Northern California in the late 70’s. Anyone have any idea what the brand was? I think I remember a photo of the guy with a yellow VW bus or something like that.

  • Beautiful - thanks!

  • I hope @Breso doesn't mind me pinging him on this.

  • What would you like to know? Most likely from the 1994 range, mid-range, usually came out built with Athena 8 speed, but yours has a Record headset so not sure if it was upgraded later!

  • Does anyone have any info on this type of steel (Nerwig 811)? Google unfortunately hasn't been very helpful.

  • Is it a Razesa?

  • Yes! I've never seen it anywhere else, was it something they used exclusively?

  • I'm sure it's Razesa's own brand. The chain wheel on the box and Spanish writing should have been a giveaway lol.

The frame decal itself should have the R / chain wheel logo on it as well.

  • I think @BigH has a thing for Spanish steel and may be able to help...

  • Been promised better pics and more info tomorrow but anyone able to tell me exactly what this is from these pics. Pal looking to sell

  • 60's-70's steel at its finest :). Braze ons on the downtube are for bar end shifters, if one side only then a time trial frame.

Glorious is a word that springs to mind..... Any frame number?

  • Will get one (hopefully) tomorrow

  • Basically what @midlife said

  • More pics of the Mercian. Owner thinks new rims required and certainly in need of some TLC having not been ridden for many years
