IMO a 330 is probably one of the coolest guitars to have with a micro-Haino in the house as a) P90s > humbuckers and b) they sound really nice acoustically and c) the 16th fret neck join makes them much much comfier than a 335 for sofa use. For gainy stuff you can lessen hairiness slightly by bodging a removable soundpost below the bridge (I did), but having it run away with you is part of the fun, really. I remember using mine with a ludicrous D*A*M Mk2 and it provided some of the best giggles ever. Buy buy buy.

I love your 330...
Looks like I'm closing in on buying the stolen guitar, Kim has had fuck all luck with the Old Bill and gave me his final blessing to nab it tonight... He's gonna give the cops one last try tomorrow... No case so I've made the guy knock another $100 off, and it's in Sydney which is gonna make getting it to me up here a bit interesting... Neck off, loads of bubble wrap and into a box I reckon...

Spent some time A/Bing a 330 and a 335 on Sat. Both strong contenders, but the sheer amount of feedback from the 330 I was getting against the "feedback when I want it" from the 335 swung it in that direction. I'll be switching the HBs for a pair of P90s as well, so best of both worlds there.
Maybe I'll get a cherry 330 in a couple of years too and just switch them in and out of the case, so my wife doesn't entirely realise I've got two.
Whats the thoughts on the 330 against 335?
330 - fully hollow, P90s - attractive as the hollow means I can play reasonable quietly and unplugged, yet at less volume than my acoustic (I'm a bit Townshendy as an acoustic player, so make a row) so its going to be useful as we've a newborn in the house. Is the feedback a huge issue that people make out? Especially when I can plug it in and wanna go full fuzz?
335 - less feedback problems, but how much volume will it out when played acoustically? My rickenbacker made a reasonable clang, so I'd imagine this is a bit louder as its double f hole compared to the single on a Rick?
Either way, I'm whacking a bigsby on it!
