Yeah, but I also know if you buy the best it works and will continue too. Also you get nice design features and no wasted weight. Also generally it's simpler and better to pitch too.
I've used a vaude before, and having spend near 100 nights in my laser comp, I know I'd rather spend the cash on quality.

Yep, you probably know that Hilleberg and Terra Nova you can't go wrong have a look around the range.
Nothing wrong with other manufacturers though - I once spent 88 nights straight in a Vaude Hogan including a couple of storms, many of them with my then girlfriend. Tent was still absolutely fine after and if there's 2 bikes splitting weight means you can easily go up to 2.5 kg or even a little more.
