It's really great. I've stopped for now at a little over 600 moons (only 250 ish more to go...) but the marker for me is it's the first game you can complete (ie not minecraft etc) that my wife has completed on her own & in her own time, since final fantasy days on the ps2.
She managed to beat the final boss run this week.

Fair play! I've played since vanilla but stopped properly playing around the end of WOTLK and start of Cata. The launch day server issues were always a problem! Glad they've sorted that.
I'm really not sure what to main. I've got a DH, Lock, Mage, Druid, Rogue, Priest and Paladin all ready to go but really can't decide on it. I mained my priest for legion but shadow isn't looking fun anymore. Considering mage but apparantly Lock is top draw fun this time around so will have to spend the next 2 weeks making my decision!

It seems Blizzard at least got the release day under control.
Daybreak could learn a thing or two here...

Anyone managed to get the new PS4 Pro 500 Million edition?
Normally I’m pretty good preordering high demand stuff, but failed this time.
Order from Currys got canceled, Smyths toys order failed too.
Today I was mashing refresh button from 10am till 10:30am on Amazon and didn’t get it either.
Sad.

Bus Simulator 2018 is coming to console. I feel like I could get stuck in to it...

Dark Souls Switch will be released on 19 October, I'm well keen.
Might even buy the amiibo too.

Yep, I kept mashing both “add to basket” option on my phone and MacBook constantly until it changed to “sold out”.

It's not available until Aug 24th in the US and Canada - maybe you could order through a US website then?

Can you squeeze cyclists into the kerb in it?
If not, I'm out.

even if it lets you wait until the passengers nearly get to the doors then close them and drive off?

It's on my list of 'That looks awesome but will probably take up all my time so I'll wishlist it and wait for occasional reminder emails to buy it when I have more free time'!
On the note of recommendations, I put Furi out there. I bought it mostly for the soundtrack, but it's a damn cool game too.

A lot of runs will go pretty quickly because "you died" so it's not too bad. But the right runs can take 45 min+. The game does incentivise you to move fast though
Actually have Furi as it was free on PS+ a while ago. Will have to give it another try

I accidentally became sucked in to watching speed runs on youtube.
Then this happened

Whut.

same, it's all i play at the moment

It the depth of the game I think.
So many options of builds, weapon types. There is nothing else as satisfying imo.
The lore is irrelevant and arcane yet you absorb it almost accidentally
Once you get it, and the analogy to real life experience of learning through failure, it just keeps on giving and getting more interesting. -

Wonderful, watching this now...
Anyway - Mario Odyssey is fun, isn't it.
I started playing yesterday, and suddenly it was 2 in the morning.
