Think there aren't many who wouldn't be like that at that point! That gravel is a deliciously evil idea of someone at TCR.

Montenegro and Albania are absoloutle the most beautiful
@MisterTomTom Do have a rest before you decide. If you need to, obviously then scratch but this is right - both great cycle touring countries. Roads in Albania are quiet, other than the main road down the coast. Montenegro the most beautiful country in Europe to tour, IMHO.

Don't scratch yet!

Don't be, everyone will be going through mentally low points at various stages. I have a (very) small amount of ultra-running experience and it's quite interesting (after the fact) how ones mood can go from debilitating lows to euphoric highs in quite a short space of time.

Thanks. Yes I've learnt to manage the highs and lows, so I can keep moving forward.
Swearing does help me vent the frustration and stress. I was under a lot of stress at that climb, as my lead could easily have evaporated if i'd had issues.

Yes, rough stuff is the essence of the race. To test riders to the limit.

Support. He's got to sort himself. A good sleep at cp4 will refresh and reset his batteries.

What do you do after you've finished? Not look at the bike for a couple of days or gentle spins to keep the legs moving?
-
• #2661
Sleep eat and relax.
I don't even know where my bike is.

Any sign of the gcn crew and post race interview with Katharine.

Final Orders for the transcontinental newspaper are now being taken. With the standard of photography of Camille McMillan and JP Robertson, it has to be worth £12.

The only thing that hippy will ever scratch is his leathery gooch.
