Question - I’m building a Kepler Disc and would really like to give 650b a try.
I was thinking of using 700c with fenders for winter, taking fenders off and swapping out wheels for 650b in the summer.
But is there any point in having 2 wheelsets? I’ve got my CAAD10 for good weather so this would be used for basically anything else, winter, gravel, canal paths and such.
Just stick with 650b, they're already perfect for the winter, it's lighter, it's stronger, a lower BB is handy etc. and you can always get those 700x60mm mudguard which actually cover a 650b 48-50mm tyres well with ample room.
