In slightly related news, up pops Kristof setting off to try and do a LEJOGLE in 5 and a half days....

I was thinking of just how tired both of the leaders where when they changed places . Plus whether this contributed to the end result . Like mister tom is now finding dealing with the fatigue and remaining level headed .

That’s quite some terrain, I’d ride on 32-35mm tyres normally so maybe have a go at pedalling, I wonder how many walk / trash tyres etc

I can’t imagine anyone in the race cycling up there given most people’s setups. Those that are set up for it I doubt will get there.

Very clever exposure blaze set up

The pictures I found of r440 near palivuk where Bjorn turned around look like gravel of the rougher kind.
If the pictures are accurate my guess is he decided that he didn't feel like doing more distance on this road.
