i had ck headset on my brompton, but with gripnut, the steerer was coming loose after a while being tightened, go with 2nut as someone mentioned. Got mine at AVT.bike. https://www.avt.bike/chris-king-convert-to-1-18-inch-2nut.html

That’s what I was thinking of or the Rasta. Cheers!

That’s the chap! Pretty stock though, just the bigger ring!
Looks like flat bars on m-type for full aero position.
Well done him. How close was second place? -

You sold this on eBay right? A guy brought it into my shop, the none official fork was the wrong a2c and the brake pads wore through the side of the tyre. Luckily you gave him the original raw fork as well. Ultegra chainset and carbon bars right? Front wheel build was shocking as well, spokes barely in the nipples. He still got a pretty good deal tho.

well sold here actually, don't know which guy came to you cos the guy who took it off me sold it on relatively quickly. Yeah I built the front wheel, 🤗. Been to two bike shops (for separate service) and both mechanics said wheel be ok to ride, so left it...

I was searching for this and fortunately @maynardeames had a spare for me. He is the guy who is definitely in the know, I know there are similars one eBay, have you emailed condor or SJS if you can buy the mount straight up?
-
• #4684
email sjs it will probably be me replying!
I do not think I have any more spares at home, and we never get them at sjs because they are used with the light etc.

Bloody Brompton..
Thanks for your email. Unfortunately this is no longer available as a spare part. Goodness knows why, as Brompton used to offer it and it was so handy for those with two bikes, for example, but they confirmed in no uncertain terms that they won't be offering it anymore. :-(
Kind regards

Anyone know anyone missing a Brompton WC edition S something:
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/493813211072111I mean it could be legit, but £350 seems low.
-
• #4692
It’s at least a few years old, even so, if it’s legit, I’m having it at £350.
Will do some investigating!

Can a Brompton be ordered with dynamo lights?
-
• #4695
Yes. You currently have the option of a Shimano hub and cheaper Busch and Müller light or a Son hub with a Busch & Müller Lumotec IQ Cyo Senso Plus front light.
Otherwise you can buy loads of other things, SP make a 74mm wide hub, SJScycles have the son XS hubs radiall built which look dope and use an edelux 2 light for example.

Yes, I have one with 6 speed and SON hub.

£? in total?
-
• #4699
I was offered SON setup very cheap otherwise I'd have gone shimano, I guess makes no diff.

I would 110% go Son if the cash is there, remarkably better, 5 year warranty, serviceable at factory, better light output, better weight, less friction etc.
She’s a right little nipper, fully loves being on the bike!
