I know the list, thanks. Was more wondering how the riders actually indicate that they have to drop out. (assuming they somehow have to contact the organizers?)

Will we ever learn the truth of what happened in that brothel?
-
• #1806
Will we ever want to?

Seem to remember that previously on a TCR, a lady made advances to Hippy, he made his excuses and left?

I just got a streetview of Bjorn's location and he appears to be here
Looks like a welcome break spot.

compulsory parquet section?
-
• #1810
Winner! I’m only saying this becuase he hasn’t moved for the last 12 hours
-

literally buried, all day
I think his strategy needs work. Doing it in a Brompton is hard enough, burrowing is too much.

Hehe. Has hat34 ever done this on a regular geometry or did he go straight in at Brompton?
Weather seems more extreme this year. Hope it doesn't cause too many scratches.

Roger started last year but scratched after Frank Simon passed away.

You have to do it North to South, but I guess there is nothing to stop you going down and back up it. Although I would have thought it's the kind of thing Skinny might consider to be against the spirit of the race?
Absolutely nothing in the rules or the spirit against doing it the 'wrong way' before doing it the 'right way'. The rules are quite clear about this.
If anything it's more audacious doing it the wrong way in order to do it the right way as the parcours are generally chosen for their gratuitousness so getting up to the CP point twice is going to be somehow suboptimal or a mental headfuck (having to ride a long way past the CP only to ride back to it).

Monster day for skinny, almost at CP3
-
• #1816
Just crawled up the second climb from cp2. Totally exhausted. Took me 3 hours to climb...
What a hard day this was. -
• #1817
Awesome, hang in there. Very jealous of where you are now.

I think his choice of hub was very poor - he would have been better getting a rohloff or sticking with Brompton 6 speed (maybe with 2 chainrings). Shimano hub gears are so inefficient.

Thanks

• #1820
You're doing incredibly. CP2 baby yeah!
-
• #1821
He might win the Extreme class but I've not had medical intervention or stopped riding on it.
-
• #1822
Has Bjorn got a faulty tracker or can skinny take his foot off the gas?
-
• #1823
Bjorn stopped a good 6 hours earlier than skinny and took a long rest. My guess is he'll catch up

Big sleep for Bjorn.
