Pretty Solid, they're still plastic and the usual faff to fit, but would happily buy again - I modded the front flap. See here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/316795/?offset=25#comment14298058

can see why you've added a flap - coverage doesn't look too ace but given limited options at this size, should be fine.
Nice build, btw! Pretty similar to what I'll be doing with mine, although my child seat is on the rear.

Always wanted a BMX scooter like that as a kid. Tempted to build an adult version one day. I take it its being used as a trailer? Pretty resourceful.

Cheers, Yeah front seat allows for saddlebag and front rack for emergency nappy carriage. All in all very happy with it, would build again.

My bike will have a front rack with slight raised edges but I'm toying with getting a pizza rack instead so I can use panniers as well as a bag/cargo on the top if I need shopping as well as work/baby/usually daily load.

Not at all, it's functionality is what I love most about it.
Planning on a ghetto tubeless conversion soon and have a nice low mileage biopace chainset to fit. Might also go for silver stem, bars and seatpost.

Finally got a chance to bring Pickenflick for a few days into the mountains. Defnitely can recommend Karkonosze and Góry Izerskie for gravels, lots of gravel roads and rough tarmac (technical lanes in forests unavailable for cars etc.) including some particularly interesting places like the highest located quartz mine in Europe :)

VERY cool. Always liked nature boys.
Thought I should mention, the picture of the bolts up there are some nice titanium ones from Compass which probably cost as much as your lamp holder. The ones I used were from a Shimano STX mid-range canti, were much less elegant, more like these:
