Roadsafed a police motorcyclist who thought beeping aggressively at pedestrians crossing the road was acceptable.

Had a crazy incident on the way home tonight Liverpool Road going north with a pair of aggressive skunk heads in a white BMW with number plate F4S1AL U. Or something v similar. If anyone comes across them give them a wide bearth.
Will be filing a report with OB tomorrow. -

Truck driver turns left across cyclist despite being in straight on lane, then has a go at the other cyclist who managed to stop him killing her

SUCH a close call this morning for this cyclist and lorry driver. He had NO idea she was there and she hadn’t seen him indicating. These streets man... 😩 pic.twitter.com/So5IHnbmR9

Fuck, that was heart stopping.

I would have pissed myself.
People are just on autopilot. If I had a go-pro I could make a compilation video of drivers indicating one way and then turning the other. It would be eight hours long.

Motorbike did an incredibly stupid acceleration round a wide corner, directly at me, passing over the white line, almost as if to intimidate....... while I was on the tri bars. Wasn’t much fazed, nor impressed.
Recently, close passes have been 80% moto. Having one cross the lane to risk a head on collision is unwanted.

I've started going through the park to the top, bit iffy on the gravel with 23s but all good on 25s and far more pleasant.

Worth using this for close passes too:

I thought everyone was on 28s these days

Good news anecdote this time! Nice little email from the Met following a roadsafe submission for a very close pass made last week. Wasn’t expecting much to come of it but just heard that they’ve sent a letter ofnintended prosecution. Always nice to see they are being active and following up on these 👍

Fun one tonight, Cabbie trying to wind up an uber driver by not letting him merge lanes exiting junction near bank, waves his little knowledge medallion at him and tells him "I'm allowed [to weave in and out of bus lanes] cos I got this, you go and read your phone" all the while said professional driver hasn't noticed there's a car parked in his lane right in front of him, as I am along side he just veers towards me, I say "watch it" and he goes "where the fuck am i supposed to go" so i say "maybe try using your indicators at least, didn't you just say you were a professional driver" he then justifies himself by telling me "you're the one over taking me" so I point out that I am in fact riding in a completely different lane to him.
I ride through the junction and am approaching the junction at the top of london bridge, there's a bus in the left lane so i'm in primary on the right hand lane (where I've been the whole time) when I hear an engine roar so I tap my brake and cabbie veers from my right in the oncoming lane, missing me on his front left wheel and the concrete lane divider on his right wheel both by less than about a foot after i'd braked and veered left. quick check of the camera footage on the back shows he pulls from the left turn lane headed to fenchurch st. cuts up the car behind me in my lane (no indication still) and then intentionally tries to punish pass me.
beefy laptop at work so might not be able to cut it together until thursday when i'm back in office,
but going to try on my 6 yr old machine if imovie lets me. only downside is i had my music playing so you cant hear everything clearly but his driving speaks for itself irregardless. -

irregardless
Doing so well right up to the last word.

Dozy or dopey fucking cunt?
-
• #8368
His stupid fucking laugh when he's waving his little badge about though, poor guy obviously doesn't have much going for him.
-
• #8369
Best remove that, police don't like it being posted publicly no?
Bellend should lose his licence though
-
• #8370
its available only through that link not listed. need to pull the footage before after as well to make a proper vid to submit, this is just a quickie for lufguss consumption.
-
• #8371
ah right. Good work.
-
• #8372
you roadsafing that?
-
• #8373
definitely. man shouldn't be on the roads if he drives with a chip on his shoulder like that for private hire and cyclists. the guy in the other car was amazing, the cabbie was trying to wind him up and the ph driver just made a hand signal to the bloke to show he'd been veering in and out of both lanes along the road, when the bloke went full on twat and banging on about "i got this, i'm allowed to do it" then the ph driver disengaged and rolled up his window which is when the cabbie went bond villain with his laughing thinking he'd won the argument.

in my experience, the officer that deals with footage from this bit of london in particular insists that footage is uploaded to youtube (most others are happy with googley drive links). once they've downloaded the clip and have fired off a NIP they ask for it to be removed from anywhere public.

• #8375
also. cabbie is a poo head and i hope the police prosecute, i don't see why they wouldn't.
Is it worth roadsafing a DHL driver I told to 'check his fucking mirrors' after he nearly squashed me at Trafalgar Square? Or is the swearing frowned upon?
